Today’s post will be dedicated to these two yummy and creatively made cake-inspired treats. So, stick around. But first, let’s start with a basic Q&A.

A Cakesicle (also known as Cake Pop-sicles) is indeed a cake, they just take on the form of a popsicle. So basically, a cake on a (popsicle) stick that’s been formed into your typical popsicle. A very convenient way to have your cake and eat it too.

You can check to see if they sell them at your local bakery. However, Etsy & some online Bakeries seem to have them. Here are a few:

Well of course you can! There are many videos that will show you step by step how you can make these delicious treats at home. I’ll also be sharing some so stick around!

Depending on what flavor/s & what you want your Cakesicles to look like it can vary. But here are the typical ingredients and tools used to make Cakesicles.

Ingredients:

  • Cake (Yes, already baked)
  • Frosting
  • Chocolate or Colored Candy Melts.
  • Food Coloring

Tools:

  • Gloves
  • Popsicle Sticks
  • Cake Spatula or Knife
  • Bowls
  • A Mixer
  • Cakesicle Silicone Molds
  • Spoon
  • Pastry Brush

It varies, depending on the amount & where you get them from. A dozen can be upward to around $70, while one can be around 3-5 dollars.

Cake Pops are cakes with the appearance of a typical lollipop. They tend to be on the smaller side & circular like a lollipop, but don’t let that discourage you from trying one they’re simply delicious & very cute!

Starbucks, bakeries (online & off), and even in some grocery stores. They’re pretty popular so you shouldn’t have a hard time finding them. Instagram also has pages that sell Cake Pops. Here are a few:

Yes, you absolutely can! Cake Pops can be made at home if you don’t want to buy any or are interested in making them yourself. I’ll be sharing recipe videos on how you can make homemade Cake Pops.
